Kruger National Park is one of South Africa's most famous National Parks. In 1926 the Kruger National Park was named after old President Paul Kruger and declared to be South Africa's first National Park.

Kings Camp is a charming safari lodge in the north-eastern corner of the unspoilt Timbavati Private Nature Reserve on the western boundary of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The old-world colonial style of King’s Camp is complemented by gracious hospitality and is reminiscent of the elegance of an era long gone.

After much planning, the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve became a reality in July 1956 when a group of conservation-minded owners of the game farms on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park joined together to form the Timbavati Association. Since then, Timbavati has been dedicated to the conservation of wildlife, while offering top service and comfort in the safari lodges on the reserve.

DJUMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

DJUMA GALAGO CAMP is a self catering safari camp offering families or small groups the use of the entire camp with total exclusivity. Accommodation is in five colonial-style bedrooms. Galago has expansive views including waterholes.

At Djuma Galago Camp guests can relax on the large viewing deck or around the swimming pool as galago camp. The pool has a view of the water-hole and nothing beats wallowing in the cool pool whilst watching elephants do the same.

Djuma Galago Camp is named after the "lesser bushbaby" Galago in Latin.

DJUMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Djuma Bush Lodge is a luxurious family lodge and comprises of eight thatched chalets all with en-suite rooms, air-conditioning, overhead fans and mosquito nets; two viewing decks and a magnificent swimming pool.

Djuma Bush Lodge caters for a maximum of sixteen guests. The Safari Lodge building, of wood and thatch is unique in its construction and offers magnificent views of the surrounding African veld from the upper deck.

Vuyatela - meaning, "come and visit again" - is an exclusive lodge that has broken the mould of traditional game lodges and is the pride of Djuma Game Reserve.

The chalets at Djuma Vuyatela, with private deck, pool and detached sitting room, reflect local architecture. Builders used corrugated iron and mud to achieve an authentic effect without sacrificing luxury in any way.
